Slight signs of use: The device and packaging show slight signs of use. (These are marks you have to look for; they’re only visible when the device is viewed under the "right light.")

Signs of use: The device and packaging show signs of use. (This means minor scratches that are more or less visible.) The drip tray area may have scratches.

Noticeable signs of use: The device and packaging show noticeable signs of use. (This means scratches and/or minor dents, particularly in the area of the drip tray and the portafilter holder.)

Housing damage: These units are actually classified as having "slight signs of use" or "signs of use," but have sustained housing damage during shipping. (Dent or deep scratch)
